Subsequently on the 10th December, 1917, the Pcking Goverment designated Lung Tsci-krong to supersedo Luk long-t'ong as generalissimo of the Lion, luong provincos. Ho crossed from Hainan island to the mainland, but vas defeated and fled in May, 1918, to the Fronch torritory of Khong-chau-van and thence to Poking. He never revisited Kran-tung and ho has since died,
